Client list

A client list in WiLake is the list of clients used within a site. Think of it as a separate file for one or multiple sites.

This allows clients to be further compartmentalised if needed. For example, you may manage multiple restaurant chains and want a separate client list for each chain. Or you may have multiple lines of business and want a separate client list for each one.

Name

The name of the client list is an internal identifier used to refer to it in the user interface. This name is not displayed to users.

Clients

Every time a client connects to the network, a client is created or updated in the client list. If the site is assigned to another client list, they are not lost, but they are not updated anymore; and the client will have to re-register on the network.
